MTP Breakout cable, a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, is designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers which need space saving and reduce cable management troubles. With US Conec MTP connectors and Corning SMF-28 ultra optical fiber, it is optimized for 40G QSFP+ PLR4 to 10G SFP+ LR, 400G OSFP/QSFP-DD DR4 to 100G QSFP DR and 400G OSFP/QSFP-DD XDR4 to 100G QSFP FR optics direct connection and high-density data center applications.
The QSFP (MTP) to 6x SFP+ (LC) fiber optic cable contains an MTP brand connector on one end, holding 12 fibers. It 'fans out' to 6LC connectors on the opposite end in duplex configuration.
The MTP brand connector boasts features like removable housing and patented guide pins - which are not available on generic MPO connectors - to accomplish superior connectivity accuracy. The LC connectors, popular in data centers for their high performance quality, provide you with a fast, reliable solution for single mode 40G applications.
With Single mode OS2 fiber optics, experience data transmissions over a 1Gbps link with a 9/125 micron glass fiber over a distance of up to 10,000 meters at a wavelength of 1310nm. For a 10Gbps link, you can transfer data over a distance of up to 5,000 meters at 1310nm, and 30,000 meters at 1550nm.
