Through the branching device, one end is MPO / MTP connector, the other end can be LC / SC / FC and other connectors (among which LC is the most widely used). The common types are MPO / MTP (8-core) to 4 x LC branch fiber jumper, MPO / MTP (12 -core) to 6 x LC branch fiber jumper, and MPO / MTP (24-core) to 12 x LC branch fiber jumper LC branch optical fiber jumper is connected with 40g / 100g at one end and 10g at the other end through the cross type pre connected MPO / MTP technology. One 40g / 100g is decomposed into several 10g, realizing the ideal transition from high-speed port (MTP / MPO) to low-speed port (LC / SC / FC). MPO / MTP-LC optical fiber jumper can be used in many existing DC environments, such as switch, rack panel and main distribution board, because of its many cores, compact design and small size.

For pre-terminated, high-density cabling systems, such as MPO/MTP connections, polarity issues must be addressed.


What is the typical application of MTP-LC branch cord?

MTP-LC branch jumpers are used for port replication of blade switch board cards to facilitate the connection of these ports to other devices. Based on the specific application and what components are inserted, there are two types of branch jumpers, module branch jumpers and trunk branch jumpers.
