Approval by the Standards Association: At present, the OM5 fiber has been released by the Communications Industry Association as TIA 492AAAE, and as the sixth edition of IEC 60793-2-10, OM5 and TIA 492AAAE specifications are in the third edition of IEC / ISO 11801 and the American National Standards Institute Wiring standard ANSI / TIA 568.3-D is recognized.
