2020 is regarded as a year of large-scale construction of 5g. The continuous spread of Xinguan epidemic in the world has a certain impact on the construction progress of 5g network and the guarantee of supply chain, but in turn, it also greatly stimulates the urgent demand for network bandwidth of telemedicine, remote office and distance education, and accelerates the construction of 5g and data center. This is a challenge and an opportunity for our industrial chain!

In order to fully meet the specifications and cost requirements of 5g forward transmission with different wavelengths, the dispersion cost of long wavelength optical modules (such as 1350nm, 1370nm wavelength) far away from zero dispersion wavelength is not ideal enough, such as the stability of TDP performance, index margin and production yield, which need to be further optimized.

At present, the industry mainly tests the TDP performance in the optical module manufacturing process, which is relatively passive and costly. On the basis of the above simulation work, it is expected to further strengthen the design and process optimization of laser chips, laser modules and optical modules from the design source. It is hoped that the whole industry chain can cooperate effectively to further improve the quality level of 5g forward transmission and reduce the comprehensive cost.

In 2020, there will be more and more pressure on the global data center such as the Internet of things and the data center, such as the Internet of things, will increase greatly in 2020. Bi Di, CWDM, DWDM, lwdm, mwdm, 50g qsfp28 and 200g qsfp-dd are applied to 5g backhaul products. 400g / 200g qsfp-dd short distance to medium long distance optical module, AOC and DAC products, all of which adopt pam4 modulation technology and have the characteristics of low power consumption and high speed, which can meet the needs of new generation data center server interconnection.
