1. Optical port problem
The loss of optical link is related to the performance of transmission, so here are some requirements:
A. Choose optical fiber connectors that meet the network access standards
B. The optical fiber connector must have a cap, and the cap should be covered when not in use to avoid contamination of the optical fiber connector and secondary pollution of the optical port of the optical module;
C. The optical fiber connector needs to be aligned with the optical port horizontally to avoid scratches on the end face and the sleeve
D. The optical port of the optical module should not be exposed for a long time, and the optical port plug should be covered when not in use
E. Keep the end face of the fiber connector clean to avoid scratches
2. ESD Damage
ESD is an inevitable phenomenon in nature. How to prevent ESD charge accumulation and rapid discharge of charge?
A. Maintain the humidity of the environment 30 ~ 75% RH
B. When the optical transcevier is in operation, please do static protection work (such as: bring an electrostatic ring or put your hand in advance to discharge static electricity by means such as touching the chassis in advance), touch the optical transcevier case, and avoid touching the PIN of the optical transcevier
C. Make sure that the equipment used is grounded at a common grounding point connected in parallel, and that the grounding path is the shortest, the grounding loop is the smallest, and cannot be grounded in series. Avoid using external cables to connect the ground loop design.
D. When packaging and turnover, use anti-static packaging and anti-static turnover box / car
