With the deepening integration of DT, IT and CT, IT not only provides an efficient means to optimize 5G network performance, but also offers new potential for expanding 5G network service capacity.
Based on the demand of the industry network, China Mobile proposed the concept of "I wireless" and the technical solution of wireless intelligent control platform. With wireless atomic capability and AI enabling as the starting point, China Mobile integrates the cloud native micro-service architecture to enhance the performance of wireless network and support the customization and opening of wireless capability.
According to the introduction, "I wireless" system includes a brain and N applications; the brain is the core part of "I wireless", including platform, data and algorithm. The platform, RIC Wireless Intelligent control platform, can conduct refined network control and wireless capability customization, and improve the overall performance of the wireless network by utilizing the environment awareness and pre-judgment capability of artificial intelligence. The Data is I-data, which has wireless big Data acquisition capability and supports the operation of AI algorithm through Data analysis and training. The algorithm is I-RRM, which assists to improve the capability of RRM in the traditional base station and supports the special needs of the industry network through wireless multi-network cooperative intelligent scheduling. The enhancement of CT oriented and the fusion application of DICT oriented can be expanded through intelligent 5G network.
"RIC can provide data analysis on the wireless side, assist base stations in data processing and realize intelligent functions, including network status prediction, service quality awareness and wireless value-added services, as well as wireless capability customization and wireless information openness." Sun qi said.
On the wireless industry verification and research and development progress of intellectual control platform, she said, by promoting the in-depth discussion of the international standard, has formed the industry a unified understanding of wireless intellectual control platform, some manufacturers have started to develop a wireless intelligent control platform, optimization, the multicarrier load balancing in VR business scenarios, such as research work carried out the verification.
Among them, some 5G small cloud station manufacturers and software service providers have started to develop wireless intelligent control platform based on the servitization architecture, so as to realize wireless performance enhancement, provide value-added wireless positioning capability and provide VR service oriented business experience support capability. At the same time, China Mobile is also cooperating with small 5G cloud station manufacturers in the factory park for AR remote inspection, industrial vision and other services, to study and verify the SLA quality assessment and prediction of the business, and the wireless slice/service quality certainty guarantee capability based on the wireless intelligent control platform.
