Q2: What we should know when choosing of the appropriate Wavelengths? 

A2: A water peak in optical fiber attenuation in dB/km occurs at a narrow range of wavelengths within the telecommunication spectrum 1260 – 1625nm. For G.652 and G.694.2 optical fiber, the water peak occurs at 1383 ± 3nm, which means avoiding 1390nm and 1410nm wavelengths because of the higher attenuation.

Q4: How many channels are available for CWDM OADM? 

A4: Following the standard ITU-T G694.2, CWDM OADM modules allow up to 18 individual wavelengths/channels separated by 20nm spacing from 1270nm to 1610nm. Any wavelength or wavelengths combination can be customized upon request.
