classification
●According to the number of fiber cores, it can be divided into 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 144 cores.
●According to the different types of optical fiber, it can be divided into single-mode and multi-mode high-density optical fiber jumper.
Singlemode high-density optical fiber jumper is generally yellow, which is used for long-distance transmission;
Multimode high-density fiber jumper is usually water blue or rose red, which is used for short-distance transmission.
●According to whether the optical fiber has branches, it can be divided into backbone optical fiber jumper and branch optical fiber jumper.
MTP connectors are used at both ends of the backbone optical fiber jumper. The diameter of the cable is generally 3.0mm, with low insertion loss and reflection loss;
Branch fiber patch cord is one end with MTP connector, the other end with LC, SC and other different types of connectors (LC connector is the most common), and its branch cable diameter is generally 2.0/0.9mm. Because of the large number of branch fiber patch cord cores, it can be widely used in high-density cabling environment.
Precautions for use
Before wiring, check whether the high-density optical fiber jumper is connected (red light pen can be used for testing). If there is a break point in the optical fiber, it is better not to use it to avoid the excessive loss of optical fiber affecting the optical fiber transmission distance.Before using the high-density optical fiber jumper, the connector shall be wiped clean with alcohol or absorbent cotton.When wiring, the high-density optical fiber jumper shall be neatly planned and bound with cable ties.When installing or removing the high-density optical fiber jumper, it is necessary to insert or pull out the high-density optical fiber jumper gently to avoid the deviation or fracture of the optical fiber plug core, which will affect the optical fiber communication and use.Do not pull or bend the high-density optical fiber jumper when wiring.
