Other Parameters Of The Light Module?
We have a preliminary understanding of the light module, want to further cognition, then to see the other parameters of the light module.
1. Loss and dispersion: they mainly affect the transmission distance of optical modules. In general, link loss is calculated at 0.35dBm/km for 1310nm optical module and link loss is calculated at 0.20dBm/km for 1550nm optical module.
2. Loss and dispersion: these two parameters are mainly used to define the transmission distance of the product.
3. Laser category: at present, the most commonly used two lasers are FP and DFB, which have different semiconductor materials and resonator cavity structures. FP lasers, on the other hand, are cheap and are generally used to transmit light modules within 40km.
4. Optical fiber interface: SFP optical module is LC interface, GBIC optical module is SC interface, and other interfaces are FC and ST, etc.
5. Service life of optical module: unified international standard, 7×24 hours of uninterrupted work of 50,000 hours (equivalent to 5 years);
6. Environment: operating temperature: 0~+70℃; Storage temperature: -45~+80℃; Operating voltage: 3.3v; Operating level: TTL.
