With the joint efforts of all parties in the global government, industry, academia, research and users, 5G is injecting a steady stream of power into the world's further digital transformation and intelligent upgrading, and the effect of scale is about to take shape.
Xiang Libin pointed out that the global 2G-5G development experience tells us that unification and globalization are the general trend of mobile communication development. In the past, my country and other countries in the world have promoted the formulation of a globally unified 5G international standard. In the future, it will also be unswerving. Continue to strengthen scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation between countries, and strive to produce more fruitful 5G scientific and technological achievements, promote the continuous growth of the global economy, and help the continuous development of human society.

In addition, in order to boost the economy, many countries around the world have formulated and announced 5G network investment plans for the next few years.
China’s 5G commercialization has been in commercial use for more than a year. Wu Hequan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, revealed that in the third quarter of this year, my country has completed its goal of building 600,000 5G base stations by the end of the year ahead of schedule. It is particularly worth mentioning that the epidemic has rapidly stimulated demand for telemedicine, online education sharing platforms, and collaborative office. 5G has shown strong vitality in the application of smart medical, smart cities, and industrial Internet.
Embracing the 5G era requires extensive international cooperation. Liu Liehong, deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that for the first time, 5G has shifted from the connection of people to the full interconnection of people, machines and things. There is no existing experience and it is facing many challenges such as technological innovation, application exploration, and ecological construction. The industry has joined hands to promote the application of 5G technology on a larger scale, deeper and higher level.
Japan’s Fifth Generation Mobile Communications Promotion Forum Chairman Yoshida Jin believes that countries should continue to share information and cooperate and collaborate globally to benefit the 5G industry.
